Abstract
This study examines the methods of Wahhabi influence in Islamic societies and strategies for countering it. The primary research question is how Wahhabism has infiltrated Islamic communities, and what measures can be taken to counter this influence? The hypothesis posits that Wahhabism has spread through media, financial investments, support for extremist groups, political and diplomatic influence, and by impacting religious institutions, and that countering it requires comprehensive approaches at both national and international levels. The research methodology is qualitative and descriptive, utilizing credible library sources, academic articles, and field reports. The findings indicate that Wahhabism has expanded through media and social networks, and with financial and political support, it has strengthened Wahhabi educational and religious institutions in many Islamic countries, including Pakistan, Afghanistan, and Egypt. Countering this influence requires international collaboration, strengthening unity among Muslims, and establishing resilient structures to combat extremist ideologies.
