Studying the sociological effect of political culture and its components on the level of political participation

Abstract

Political culture means awareness, attitude and universality, knowledge and thought in the world of politics, which plays an important role in promoting political participation. The main purpose of the research is to study the effect of political culture index on the level of political participation. The research method is quantitative meta-analysis, its statistical population is 32 documents, 18 of which were selected in terms of validity and reliability to enter the software. Its analysis tool is Cohen's d and Fisher's f in the form of effect size. The results show that political culture has a significant and positive effect on the process of political participation in the period of 1402-1387 and its coefficient value is equal to 0.15, as well as democratic political culture (0.145); indifferent political culture (0.110); Pragmatic political culture (0.131) and traditional political culture (0.218) had a significant relationship with political participation. The results and implications of the research show that improving the level of political awareness and knowledge of society leads to responsibility, increasing commitment and empathy towards politics, and this provides the basis for increasing the political participation of citizens. Basically, political participation requires background and support in people's political actions, and this lies in the structure of political culture.
