The platform provided by them during elections becomes an important platform for presenting political programs and views by different candidates. Similarly, it provides an opportunity for voters to obtain political information and analyze the programs and manifestos presented and advertised by political parties and different candidates during the election campaigns. The aim of the present study is to examine the performance of the Ilam provincial network in introducing and analyzing the status of candidates for the Islamic Consultative Assembly with an emphasis on the northern constituency of the province. The research method is descriptive-analytical and in terms of implementation method, a quantitative sequential combination (survey-Delphi). The data collection tool is a researcher-made and focused questionnaire. Delphi statistical population 30 university professors with purposeful method and survey statistical population, 380 citizens 21 years and above of Ilam city were selected in 1401 based on Sample Power software and multi-stage cluster sampling. Data were analyzed with SPSS software. Results show that the average score of the impact of IRIB in reducing the tribal role is 18.42, advertising expenses are 11.58, reflecting candidates' programs is 37.79, increasing public participation is 20.91, selecting the most suitable person is 10.97, providing transparency and informing the public is 14.10, candidates' central ethics in advertising is 22.08, reflecting the candidate's personality traits is 14.01, reducing party affiliation is 11.83, and in demanding from previous elected officials is 13.19. It is concluded that the Ilam Central Radio and Television played a decisive role in reflecting the candidates' programs and public participation in the elections; but it did not perform well in reducing the tribal role, reducing advertising costs, providing favorable information, making demands on previously elected officials, specifying party affiliation, reflecting the candidate's personality traits, and focusing on ethics in advertising.
