This study examines the security implications of the gradual U.S. withdrawal from the Middle East on the Arab Gulf States and Iran. The main research question is: What security threats will the U.S. withdrawal from the region pose to the Gulf States, and how will Iran exploit this situation? The hypothesis of the study is that the reduced presence of the U.S. will lead to increased regional threats, particularly in the economic and military domains, and will enhance Iran's influence. The research methodology includes a documentary analysis and a review of credible sources on international relations, regional security, and the policies of Iran and the Gulf States. The results indicate that, despite the historical background, the Arab States perceive Iran as a security threat. This perception is likely due to Iran's geopolitical and geostrategic positioning, as well as its power in the region. Moreover, Iran will exploit the vacuum created by the U.S. withdrawal to strengthen its influence, especially by capitalizing on the anti-Israeli sentiment prevalent among the populations of these countries.
