China has emerged as one of the world's largest growing economies and is currently one of Iran's most important trade and economic partners. In March 2021, after years of talks, the 25-year cooperation document between Iran and China was exchanged. Estimating how the 25-year document will be implemented can have a significant impact on Iran's regional position. This article seeks to answer the question of what is the achievable future of Iran's regional position after the implementation of the 25-year Iran-China document? The main hypothesis of the research will also be explained as follows: It seems that in the favorable scenario of implementing the 25-year document, political trade interactions between Iran and China will increase and can enhance Iran's regional position. The research findings also state that in the era of interdependence, the implementation of this document increases dependence in terms of various economic, political, military, etc. dimensions, and based on the present-day method, considering the conflicts between China and the United States, Iran's acceptance into the Shanghai Organization, the direct confrontation between Iran and Israel, etc., it has been examined, and since China has a high capacity and capability to strengthen the development process of Iran and subsequently enhance Iran's regional status. It seems that in the favorable scenario, after the removal of banking barriers and international sanctions, the Islamic Republic can overcome the unilateralism of the United States in the West Asia and Central Asia region, which is of particular importance in terms of its geostrategic position, with a 25-year agreement and its implementation.
