The aim of this paper is to present a framework for measuring the impact of psychological factors on political tendencies and its empirical testing. To this end, the conceptual and theoretical relationship between psychology and politics is first examined through authoritative texts. Then, existing models are examined and criticized, and finally, the framework is presented, its features and components are explained, and it is tested empirically. The basic question is, what effect do psychological factors have on political tendencies? The subject of the paper is exploratory in nature and its main goal is to design a model, but empirical evidence is also presented to test it. The causal modeling method (cause and effect) is used to design the model. For this purpose, first, existing information and perspectives are reviewed, screened, and criticized, and then, based on the findings under review, an attempt is made to organize and present a new model, which is finally put to an empirical test. The result and finding of this article is a conceptual-theoretical model or framework that can be used to measure the impact of psychological factors on political tendencies in different statistical communities, and for its empirical test, students from Tehran universities were used as a sample.
