Expediency Strategy in Acquisition and Continuity of Power in Saadi's Thought by Applying Machiavelli's Theory

Abstract

What was to be seen in Machiavelli's opinion, the great political thinker of the 15th and 16th centuries of Italy, was that how successful and correct methods could be obtained to overthrow Italy and Florence from the onslaught of ruin Saved. In this way, Machiavelli paid attention to realism and interest in thinking in his views as two pillars of political affairs. Sa'di also has to deal with the reality and expediency of politics. Sa'di, like Machiavelli, was referring to politics and power as a method or strategy, and instead of paying attention to ethical and conscientious affairs, he turned to facts and interests. Meanwhile, the vision and purpose of these two are equally similar to the power, because both thinkers have sought to resolve the issues of people and unity and solidarity in the pursuit of peace and security. In this study, we intend to trace the parameters considered by Machiavelli in politics in Saadi's works. This research is of analytical descriptive type and has been done by library method.
