بازخوانی انتقادی تبیین ایده مرگ یا بقای نظریه سیاسی در تحلیل گفتمان پست‌مدرنیسم

Postmodernism, in the Western intellectual context, challenged the foundations of modern political thought with a critical perspective. These developments led to significant political consequences in both theoretical terms and in shaping the future of political theory in the context of modern human existence. This intellectual and philosophical shift resulted in some interpreting the rise of postmodernism as the “death” or the “dissolution” of political theory. In this regard, the aim of this research is, in the first phase, to explain the process of crisis emergence within the discourse of modernity, and in the second phase, to discuss the consequences of postmodernism’s rise in the realm of political thought. The central research question is: What impact has the emergence of postmodernism had on the status and future of political theory? The findings, obtained through a descriptive-analytical method and utilizing discourse analysis, indicate that postmodern political theory is shaped around a new paradigm of coherent political thought, influenced by the epistemological and philosophical foundations of various thinkers such as Nietzsche, Foucault, Laclau, Mouffe, and others. The foundations of postmodern discourse, including relativism, postsecularism, postnationalism, pluralism, radical democracy, and others, have significantly impacted various areas, including the understanding of power, political thought, epistemological systems, and, in general, everyday life.
