This study examines the impact of corruption on human development indicators in Iran during the period 1392-1400. The main objective of the study is to analyze the negative effects of corruption on human development indicators, including education, health, and social welfare. The main question of the study is: How has economic and administrative corruption in government and economic institutions affected Iran's human development indicators during this period? The research hypothesis is that corruption, by reducing transparency and efficiency in government institutions, leads to a decline in human development indicators. This study uses data analysis and empirical evidence and, based on reports from Transparency International, the World Bank, and the International Monetary Fund, changes in indicators related to human development during this period have been examined. The results show that human development indicators such as life expectancy, ease of doing business, and innovation have improved in some cases, but other indicators such as employment and the corruption perception index have declined. These results confirm that corruption, as a structural obstacle, has significant negative effects on human development, and improving transparency and strengthening oversight institutions are key requirements for improving these indicators. The research method in this article is descriptive-analytical, and the data have been collected through note-taking from library sources.
